Advisor Tax Policy

Syed Mushtaque Kazimi, highly accomplished personality with nearly 40 years of experience in the Government of Pakistan, holds the position of Tax Policy Advisor at Sindh Revenue Board. In the field of taxation he began his career as an officer of Pakistan Customs & Excise Service and has held several prominent positions within the Federal Board of Revenue, including Member (Sales Tax) and Member (Technical) in Pakistan Customs and Excise & Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal. Mr. Kazimi’s expertise extends internationally, as he has served as a tax expert in assignments on deputation to Zimbabwe in 1982 and Mongolia in 1994. In his current role at SRB, he leverages his extensive knowledge to shape effective tax policies and contribute to revenue generation and compliance. His wealth of experience and dedication make him a valuable asset in fostering a conducive tax environment for SRB and its mission.
