Single Sales Tax Return

Single sales tax return portal is a new initiative undertaken by all provincial revenue authorities and the FBR with the assistance of the World Bank. It will provide one window for filing sales tax returns by taxpayers across the country reporting to multiple jurisdictions. The effort aims at facilitating the taxpayers, promoting ease of doing business and reducing compliance costs. The new sales return portal will assist in minimizing the data entry, simplifying the filing process, addressing the common data issues and rectifying the calculation errors when it is launched. It will also automatically handle and distribute input tax adjustments and tax payments across the sales tax authorities, diminishing the necessity for reconciliations and payment transfers.
